What We’re About

In a nutshell we’re about extending your reach in making Jesus known through His Word.

God promises, “My Word will prosper everywhere I send it” (Isaiah 55:11). Bible Mission USA is about ordinary people who follow an extraordinary Lord. We send out, deliver, and provide Bibles and biblical materials freely to others in need.

Caring Christians in our communities continue to generously supply food, clothing and shelter to the struggling among us. Bible Mission USA comes alongside and offers spiritual food – the Bible. In its pages Jesus emerges as the Word of God.

Jesus said, “No one lives by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). Once we opened our eyes to the spiritual hunger people have for God’s Word, a passion gripped our hearts. We began giving Bibles to children, teens, adults and seniors, who face the struggles of this world and urgently need spiritual food.

God’s Word changes lives by revealing the message of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. Jesus still invites us to follow Him as Lord and Savior. The Jesus revealed in the Bible makes all the difference. He is the living Word of God who nurtures and changes lives.

Sometimes people think the Bible is mostly medicine to be taken in small doses when they are sick, discouraged or desperate. While it’s true the message of the Bible speaks to all these needs, the Bible is more than medicine. It is food, spiritual food designed to nourish our lives every day.

God told Ezekiel “eat the scroll” of God’s Word. When he did, the Prophet reported, “it was in my mouth as sweet as honey” (Ezek. 2:8-3:3). The Bible is Spiritual food. Feeding on it nourishes us even when we don’t expect it to.

Look, you probably eat three meals a day, but can’t remember what you had for lunch yesterday! Never mind the food you ate yesterday nourished you whether you remember it or not. In a similar way, regular reading of the Bible nourishes your Spiritual life and gives energy and direction to your path. Bible Mission USA wants everyone to experience the Lord’s presence and guidance.

The Bible directs our lives through the story of Jesus – how he lived, what he said, and why he died and rose again. Jesus is Lord. He loves us with God’s own love, offers hope to the discouraged, salvation to the sinner, and eternal life to all who trust him as Savior.

Imagine having Jesus as your personal friend today and forever! This is the Jesus who comes alive in the pages of the Bible. We want everyone to know Him. So we link our ministry with those who are faithfully meeting basic human needs in our community. Today, a growing number of Service Organizations and Churches recognize the ministry of Bible Mission USA as crucial in meeting spiritual need.

“Jesus had compassion on the crowds,
because their problems were so great.
They didn’t know what to do
or where to go for help.
They were like sheep without a shepherd.”
(Matthew 9:36)

Throughout many communities we organize locations for distribution on a scheduled rotation. In these centers and mission locations – Bibles, New Testaments, Gospels of John, and children’s Bible Storybooks are available to help people hear the Shepherd’s voice. The Holy Spirit has stirred our hearts to make available God’s written Word – the Bible, because it tells about God’s living Word – Jesus. Jesus is compassionately immersed in our wounded and wounding world. We believe –

“God’s Word became flesh and blood,
and moved into the neighborhood.”
(John 1:14 The Message)
